Dr Shahana is Head of Mentorship across the Smile On Group and brings more than 20 years of clinical and teaching experience across South Africa, the United Kingdom and Australia. She has a special interest in aesthetic, implant and reconstructive dentistry, including veneers, clear aligners, composite bonding, dental implants and full-mouth rehabilitation.
Known for her calm and patient-centred approach, Dr Shahana takes the time to understand each person’s goals and clearly explain their treatment options. She is also the founder of Aurora Academy and continues to lecture and mentor dentists internationally.
Dr Jennifer Tran
Dr Jennifer Tran is a gentle and compassionate dentist who has a passion for improving patient’s oral health, because she believes everyone deserves a smile they love.
She takes pride in creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere because she knows the dental office isn’t everyone’s favourite place. Therefore, Dr Jennifer ensures she listens to your concerns, and works hand-in-hand with you to make every appointment a positive experience. She loves seeing patients of all ages and performing all aspects of dentistry, with a special interest in smile makeovers.

Dr Jennifer graduated from Griffith University with a Masters of Dentistry, achieving Academic Excellence through all her years. She enjoys staying up-to-date with the latest dental technologies, and takes time to attend continuing education courses.
My Hobbies
Outside of dentistry, you can find Jennifer experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, practising her embroidery skills, and staying fit with pilates. With a strong clinical foundation and a gentle chairside manner, he is committed to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles.
Dental Education
Since completing his dental studies at the University of Queensland, he has worked between Brisbane and North Queensland in rural practices. In addition to his general dental training, Dr. Malisano has undertaken further education in the use of inhalation sedation (happy gas) and therapeutic Botox applications. He has a particular interest in the management of bruxism (teeth clenching and grinding), offering an integrated approach that combines night splints, Botox injections, and collaboration with physiotherapists to ensure effective, long-term results.
My Hobbies
Outside the clinic, Adrian leads an active lifestyle and has a lifelong passion for swimming. A former state and national competitor, he is now training for his first solo triathlon. When he’s not in the pool or at the practice, he enjoys downtime at home with his beloved cat.

Dr Anika is a compassionate and gentle dentist who is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to her patients.
Known for her kind and caring approach, she takes time to ensure that every visit to the dental chair is a positive and comfortable experience. Anika enjoys working with patients of all ages, from children visiting the dentist for the first time to seniors maintaining their lifelong smiles. Her passion lies in helping people feel at ease and confident in their dental health, making each appointment a step toward brighter, healthier smiles.

Anika was born and raised in South Africa, where her passion for helping others and love for dentistry first began. She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Pretoria, where she developed a strong foundation in both the science and artistry of dentistry. After relocating to Australia, she successfully completed the rigorous examinations set by the Australian Dental Council, enabling her to register and practice as a dentist in Australia. This journey reflects her dedication, hard work, and commitment to providing the highest standard of care to her patients.
My Hobbies
When she isn’t caring for patients, Anika enjoys relaxing with a good book, spending time outdoors, and baking new treats in the kitchen. She treasures time with her family and her dog, who is her constant companion, and she’s always happy to have a chat about your pets. She looks forward to travelling more in the future.

Rhea is a family dentist who provides care with a gentle and patient-focused approach.
She takes the time to understand each patient’s individual needs and aims to create a comfortable and supportive environment.

Hobbies
Outside of dentistry, Rhea enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and likes to stay active. She regularly goes to the gym and plays tennis socially with her friends. Rhea also loves to experiment with new baking recipes in the kitchen and she enjoys exploring different restaurants and food spots around Brisbane.
Dr John Hur

Dr John brings a diverse background to Smile On Camp Hill, having lived and studied in South Korea, the United States, New Zealand and Australia. He now calls Brisbane home.
Dr John has a particular interest in oral surgery and enjoys assisting patients with procedures such as wisdom teeth management and dental implants. He is committed to listening to each patient’s concerns and providing care tailored to their individual needs.
